Firmographic data explained
Unless's integrations with firmographic data providers allow you to identify the anonymous prospects that are visiting your website, based on the visitor's IP address. You can then see a list of the companies that are looking at your website via Users tab as shown in the screenshot below.
However firmographic data is not limited to company name alone. You can also find out the company size, industry, and more of these visitors. That information can then be used to segment your visitors into audiences. For example, in the screenshot below you can see an audience we created for visitors in the education industry.
In addition to identifying company information, it might also be possible to enrich your identified visitors. An anonymous visitor to your website can be identified with an email address if they book a demo, sign-up for a newsletter, request an e-book, etc. Once they give you their email address, you can enrich it with firmographic data points such as company name, job title, and more as can be seen in the screenshot below.
How to integrate?
Unless offers basic firmographic data points such as company name and industry out-of-the-box. However, if you would like to take a more granular approach and need additional data points such as the email addresses of contacts, you can also get an account at one of our partners. We have integrations with a variety of firmographic data providers and can advise you on which would fit your particular use case the best.
